Restaurant Ruckus

Thanks to Ethan Taylor for sharing this great game idea with us. We love it!

Quickie:

Your students have to knock food trays out of each other's hands

Pro Tips:

  • Aspirin, Aspirin, Aspirin. THIS IS A VERY LOUD GAME. It's crazy fun but you will need Aspirin, don't say I didn't warn you.

  • You might want adult leaders to keep an eye out for people when their out.

  • Make a catchy playlist or choose an upbeat song. This is vital if you want this game to not get boring after 5 minutes.

  • Make sure you clarify that your students have to hold their pan with one hand and one hand only.

  • You might also want to weigh down each student’s Styrofoam dishes a little if you don't want them to fly off their trays first thing.

Supplies:

  • 1 pizza pan or round cookie sheet per student.

  • 3 styrofoam (or paper) dishes per student cups/bowls/plates

How to Play:

Have everybody set their dishes on their tray, and put the trays in hand. On GO your students try to knock each other’s trays to the ground while still holding theirs. When someone's tray falls they are eliminated from the game. Last one standing with tray in hand wins.
